FSSC 22000/Vs. 5.1

FSSC 2000 (Food Safety System Certification) is
a visible sign for the quality ensuring a high level of certainty that no other can match. In January 2018 MESCH had been certified upon this world wide standard in its version 4.1, and in January 2020 – as one of the first German Company’s-  upon its latest version 5.1. This upgrade includes now the High-Level-Structure, the risk-based approach of operational side (HACCP) and the management side and uses also different pdca-zycles.  With this new upgrade, a new integrated management system (i.e. for Organic) was implemented, too.

It is more than DIN 9001 or ISO 22000:2018 because FSSC22000 connects technical requirements and norms, preventive programs and other requirements. Of course, FSSC22000 includes HACCP and Risk Assessments on high levels, Food Fraud, Food Defense and Co. As well as allergen management, stuff trainings, tracking and tracing: a full program of requirements!

The benefit of this certification: it is not owned by private properties or trade associations, it is independent and recognized by GFSI (Global Foods Safety Initiative). Nevertheless, FSSC22000 is compatible to IFS and BRC at a very high level! One management system is a framework of many demands.
